Mommy moment...

Okay so it has been one of those days when I just don't know if I can be a mom again tomorrow. Karlee is fussy, Morgan is on one, I just need to sit her and think about some cute stuff so I can make it through the night! I was looking through some pics and these ones did it! They are both being so sweet in these!

Morgan loves Karlee and is always making sure that everyone knows that she is her "little sissy" and her "best friend". I love the way that Morgan takes care of her. It is seriosly so sweet to hear her talk to her when she thinks nobody is listening. To be driving in the car with Karlee fussing and Morgan telling her "We are almost home, it is okay." To be cleaning the kitchen while Karlee is napping and Morgan is playing in her room (so I thought)and hear "You are my sunshine" being sung through the monitor. The sweetest was when we were on our way to the doctor for Karlee's 2 month check-up. I had a talk with Morgan before we left about how Karlee was going to have to get some pokes (that is what we call shots). Morgan was pretty concerned. We were driving on our way to the doctor and this was the conversation...

Mo- "Oh good Mom, I am glad."
Mom- "What are you so glad about?"
Mo- "Karlee's sleepin' in her seat, now Dr. Cox won't wake her up to give her some pokes and make her cry."

I just laughed.

2 minutes later...

Mo(singing)- "Rock-bye baby on tree tops"
Mom- "What are you doing Mo?"
Mo- "Karlee wakid up, she needs to be asleep so she doesn't get a poke."

When I am having these days when I just want to rip out my hair, I find that it is good to go through pictures of all the fun, sweet things and then put the girls to sleep and kiss thier foreheads. Nothing is better then when my 2 sweet girls are sleeping at the same time!

Such cute girls! Some days are hard...even with just one. So I'm sure it's only doubled with two, but it looks to me like you have two beautiful, healthy, happy daughters. You are doing a fabulous job!
