Morgan's Recitial... what a star!

This time last year I was a mom in tears because Morgan wouldn't go on stage for her dance recital. This year was another story. Morgan was so excited to go to her dance recital, she couldn't wait to get up on stage. Once she got up there she rocked! Here are some pictures and a video of my dancing star! I am one proud MAMA!

What about Karlee Jae?

As I did my last post Karlee was sitting here on my lap. I posted 2 pictures of Morgan and Karlee said " What about Kardee Jae?" She has been referring to her self and KarDee lately, which I love, but I have no idea where she came up with KarDee Jae. I love her, she is doing something and saying new words everyday. They grow so fast!!!

CrAZy hair day...

Morgan had crazy hair day at school. It is actually really funny what happened. She told me that it was on Thursday, but when we got to school there were only 3 kids with CRAZY hair! I guess it was actually on Friday. Morgan didn't care, she loved the attention. We just made sure her hair was EXTRA crazy on Friday for the REAL CRAZY hair day!

FuN in THe LeaVeS!

This yard has required quite a bit more maintenance then our other one did. We have loved every minute of it though. The big yard is well worth the work that you have to put into it. We have never had the pleasure of having trees big enough to have enough leaves to rake. The girls had a ton of fun playing in the leaves this year. We could get used to living here, but we better not. ;)

Karlee got a hold of the bAby pOWdEr and made a GIANT mess... I took this picture before I saw her room and my camera was dead so I didn't get any photos of that... but here is what she did to herself! Priceless! Love this girl!

HaPPY HaLLoWeeN!!!

We had so much fun this Halloween week. I have decided that Halloween isn't just a day... it is a whole week! It has been a crazy week for us... Halloween party at our house, Halloween party at dance... Parade and party at Morgan's school... Trunk or Treat at church... and Trick or Treating tonight! Might I mention it isn't even REALLY Halloween yet? Who knows what tomorrow will hold. Here are some pics from our CRAZY week!

Morgan was a pirate and each time she dressed up she looked a little bit different. Her costume was fun because we just used what we had... other then her cute little parrot, PETEY, she was very particular about that little guy. She turned down several parrots before he passed the test.

Karlee was Cinderella, she didn't love to get her picture taken as you will notice, but I think I got at least one with a smile on her face! Funny thing about her is that I took the costume off and then she posed for the camera with a giant cheesy grin! Maybe she should have been a MONSTER instead of a PRINCESS!

I had fun on Halloween Eve (Mormon Halloween, if you will). I made MUMMY sandwiches, they looked better in my mind then they did when they were done, but you get the drift, I made homemade rootbeer too, that we fun. My girls thought I was magic when it started smoking and bubbling. Worth every minute!

Glitter Pumpkins!

Let me first say that Mitch hates HALLOWEEN! Then I should say that he HATED doing this craft with a passion. He says we will be seeing glitter for the next 10 years! The girls had fun and so that is what really mattered!

We only had 1 spill so I think we did pretty good!


This is the bathtub after bathing the girls... don't worry, all of the glitter is cleaned up. Good as new!

Haircuts at our house!!!

So... Karlee got a haircut. Cute little A-LINE! I have been meaning to post pics for a while, so here they are. Morgan also got a haircut. Hers is quite a bit shorter, but not as noticeable. She was feeling left out so I thought I would post her pics too!

The GREAT outdoors...

We finally made it out camping this year. It was so fun, we went with the Rekoutis Family and the Kuehne Family, this is something we have been talking about for YEARS and we finally pulled it off, with great success too I might add.

We went near Vernon Reservoir and had so much fun! 4-wheelers, motorcycles, food, fishing, cows, food, scavenger hunt, worms, dirt, food, fire, smores, tents, food, crawdads, mud, babies, did I mention FOOD?! I think I ate the entire time!!! Morgan and Karlee could have stayed all week long.


These two could eat and sleep on a 4-wheeler, they LOVE them!
