Sorry all, but Mitch must have been behind the camera or hiding all day because I don't have many pictures of him to share. OOPS!

Christmas 2010
Christmas gets more fun every year! As the girls get older and older they get more excited for Christmas. It is hard for this mom to not go overboard and spoil her girls RoTTeN! This year was a lot of fun. All that Karlee wanted from Santa was a "pink cwy baby" (she struggles with her 'Rs' a bit) I LOVE IT. She got her baby, but I, being mother of the year, didn't get one picture of her holding it on Christmas! I will have to share one later. She is in love with her and named her Lia (after my friend Stef's baby girl)! Morgan got the DS she wanted too. I am not sure who has more fun with it, her or her parents. Good old Super Mario Bros. sure brings back some good memories.

HAPPY 30th MITCH!
MITCH TURNED 30!!!
As you all know, Mitch is a pretty shy guy so you can imagine how afraid I was when I decided that he needed a surprise party for his birthday. I had to be very careful to invite his friends and not all of mine. As you also know, I would have liked to invite everyone we know. It was tough for me.
Anyhow, his birthday was on Dec. 13th so we had the party that night. We had to miss our family Christmas party, but it all worked out. Mitch thought we were going to the party so it helped me pull off the trick. My dad and brother pretended that they forgot his birthday and asked him to come over and help with Christmas lights. It worked great! He came home and everyone was here, he was surprised!
He was shocked at first, said we freaked him out. I was a little nervous that he was going to hate having all the attention on him, but he adapted. We had all of his favorite things, we decorated in his favorite colors and made it all about him. I had everyone send me words that they thought of when they thought of Mitch and I wrote them on posters.
It turned out to be a fun night. We had a lot of fun and Mitch admitted that he also enjoyed him self. Happy Birthday to my handsome husband! Thank you for being exactly what I need and want. Thank you for being the amazing father to our girls that you are. I love the way they love you. I feel so blessed to have you in my life and look forward to spending eternity with you and your pretty blue eyes! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hawaii
Mitch and I were lucky enough to get to go to Hawaii at the end of November, it was all I dreamed it would be. The water was beautiful, the weather was perfect. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Maui and we loved every minute. When we left Utah it was a blizzard that looked like it wasn't ending any time soon. The roads were insane (thank you Dad for driving us to the airport). We landed in Hawaii in our long pants holding jackets and couldn't change fast enough.
The weather was perfect there. We did a lot of snorkeling, it is one of our favorite things to do. We walked the beach a ton, there was a great beach walk that went past all of the resorts it was a long walk that seemed to fly by. We rented Jet Skis and I thought that Mitch was going to dump me in the middle of the ocean. I am afraid I threatened his life too many times during the Jet Ski trip. Sorry babe! We rented a car for most of the trip and found ourselves at Honolua Bay a lot. It was our favorite place. We did some snorkeling there and watched some surfers riding HUGE waves. We enjoyed that so much that we decided to take surf lessons. That was the highlight of the trip, we loved learning to surf. I just wish we would have done it sooner so we could have done it more. Mitch was a natural, I caught on eventually (story of our lives).
We survived the road to Hana... barely. We both got pretty sick on the way back down the mountain. That wasn't our favorite, many people say that you HAVE to go do that, we would say if you have a whole day to kill. We did enjoy the hike once we got there, the waterfalls were amazing, but the drive... not worth it in our opinions.
It was a great trip, the best part for me was being able to spend the whole thing with Mitch. People kept asking us if we were honeymooning and even though we weren't it sort of felt like we were. I couldn't ask for a better husband and I am so happy that we were able to spend that time together. For the record, I am willing to go back to Hawaii at anytime! I LOVED IT THERE!
Now for the PICTURE OVERLOAD! I wish I could post them all... but I have other things to do today! Enjoy!
