Well, Wednesday finally came it is was the day we were going in for the BIG ultrasound to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. It was extremely hard to wait clear until 4:00 in the afternoon to go in, but we made it! I drank all the water I was supposed to so my bladder would be nice and full and we wouldn't miss anything! We were so excited we ended up getting there pretty early, so we drove around to get a good spot, it was freezing! Then we headed into office and didn't have to wait too long, but of coarse it seemed like FOREVER!!! I am sitting there waiting with my legs crossed, rocking back and forth, trying so hard to keep my bladder full without having a problem when they finally call us in to the ultrasound room.
We proceed in and I get up on the table lay down all ready to go. The ultrasound was really neat, it was a 3D ultrasound so we got to see things pretty clear! It was amazing! So the doctor goes through his list, yep, 2 legs, 2 arms, the heart is beating, bladder, liver, all the goods. And that was all great to hear, top priority is a healthy baby for sure. But really I wanted to know if it was a boy or a girl!!! So by the time he gets to that part, last of coarse, the baby is moving around like crazy! Summersalts, flips, this baby is a gymnast! He says he has some bad news. The baby won't hold still long enough to let him see for sure what it is! He tries to take a photo of it, but it just won't hold still! I may have another wild one on my hands!
So, we have to wait 4 more weeks and have another ultrasound to determine the baby's sex! DANG!!! I don't know if I can do it! My grandma reassured me that I could wait since she waited the whole time with all 7 of hers, but it sure sounds like a long time to me! Our new appointment will be on Feb. 27th and hopefully the baby will cooperate this time!

Shoot, I am sorry you could not see! I can barely hold myself together for those first few weeks wanting to know what the baby is. I am sure you will be able to see the second time. Post those ultrasound pics if you can, those 3D ones are so cool.

Too bad about the ultra sound...You have a lil flipper on your hands? I can't imaging NOT knowing what you are having the whole pregnancy...Josie did it! CRAZY!
Congratulations on the new addition! Hopefully baby will be a little less modest at the next ultrasound. :)
That is crazy, But I have to say it is kinda fun not knowing what your having. I did not find out with Kaden and it was a great suprise. I hope that you have better luck at the next ultrasound.
Ya, you might as well just wait! What you have a 50% chance of either, and you already have all the girl stuff. So lets just go buy boy stuff and call it good!!! It will be so fun!! You know how exciting it was with Dillon!
Holy crap, I would be so mad! I'm not patient enough to wait 20 weeks, let alone 9 months!!! What a bummer. I don't know what I'll do if that happens to me. I think I'll camp out at the Dr. office until they tell me what I'm having :) We find out on the 26th what we're having. Keep us posted!
